Greeting Cards Software?
by admin on Apr.14, 2010, under Small Business
What is a good greeting card software that I can get to start a greeting card business? A free one would be nice, but if the ones I have to pay for really work, that would be good.

I would like to get into the printing of small business cards. Can anyone inform me of which tools are necessary to begin? I am aware of Microsoft Word and Adobe illustrator are the best software for this kind of work.

We are a small business that is trying to organize all of our old business cards onto a central database software or sorts. We need to be able to create different classifications for the contacts and export the lists to email. For example, we need to be able to classify a contact more than one way, such as “eco-friendly” and also “retailer”, thus if we need to email a group about a new product line they would be in it, but if it was about manufacturing, they would not. Also, it would be idea to be able to select by region, or everyone who is under a company name. We also need to be able to generate phone lists based on the same criteria.
Any ideas? The software must be Free.
THANKS!
Jack
Is this good software for a new business?

Hello yahoo Business and Financing community!
2 friends and I have been planning to start a company and at first we sold by word of mouth and now that we got quiet a few sales going and more buyers, we decided to make a website and get more professional software. We were unsure and most of our acquaintances who are in the business world use industrial and old model programs and machinery. We purchased some new software but wanted a second opinion before starting everything!
Current Software: VersaCheck Platinum 2007 (http://www.g7ps.com/)
VersaCheck Payroll 2007(http://www.g7ps.com/)
QuickBooks Credit Card Processing Kit (http://quickbooks.intuit.com/product/add_ons/credit_card_processing_kit.jhtml?view=how#tabAnchor)
So please feel free to make suggestions and recommendations via dieuxsoldat_04@sbcglobal.net! Any information and especially links would be appreciated!
Sincerely,
Jason Xiao
Additional Information:
We are going to be web based mainly and we will most likely be using Zen Cart unless someone convinces us otherwise.
